ST GEORGE – On March 17, 2010 local filmmakers RB Studios were awarded first and second place at the state UPVA* Creative Excellence Awards Celebration. The 8th annual competition, held in Salt Lake City, gave filmmakers statewide the opportunity to submit work produced during the past calendar year, to be judged on their creative and technical merit by professional filmmakers outside of the state.

RB Studios was awarded second place in the category of corporate production for their commercial for Remember The Word: The Book of Mormon Edition, a scripture DVD trivia game. First place in the event video production category was awarded for the Brigadoon teaser they put together for Pine View High.

Russ Broadhead, founder of RB Studios said, “We are so honored to be recognized by our peers. We have met some wonderful people through our involvement in UPVA and are inspired by the love they have for their craft. Jenny and I want to send a big “Thank You!” to all our clients who have allowed us to be a part of their weddings and for the trust they placed in us to capture their special event(s).”
